Goodwill TalentBridge is currently recruiting EXPERIENCED Chemical Operator's to work in a DIRECT HIRE CAPACITY for one of our clients in the Gurnee area.


Chemical Operator's are responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient process while within the batching area. Chemical Operator's are also responsible for interacting with other employees in a strong/professional manner while filling. This includes area employees, group leaders, and quality assurance employees.


  • To prepare all batches in an efficient manner while ensuring safety and quality.
  • To use all equipment safely and in it's designed manner.
  • To recommend any changes to procedures and/or equipment to improve quality, safety, efficiency, and to reduce waste.
  • To observe all safety rules and use all PPE equipment, specified for each batch.
  • To assist QA department with all quality assurance requirements for batching and chemical use.
  • Assist with daily and weekly batching area clean-up procedures.
  • To conduct periodic chemical inventories.
  • To organize and consolidate incoming chemical shipments.
  • To keep chemical storage area clean.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned while ensuring a safe work environment.


  • MUST have previous chemical compounding experience - minimum of 2-3 years.
  • Must have general math skills and the ability to read/comprehend work orders and batching instructions.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Must be fully proficient in operating a fork truck, safely.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, consistently.
  • High School Diploma/GED is REQUIRED.

2nd Shift: 5:00PM - 3:30AM (Mon-Thurs). Pay: $15+(plus); based on experience.
