Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a Cell Captain to work in the Wheeling area.


Individual will work in a fast paced environment and will assist in the coordination of the production schedule by working closely with the leadership throughout the production floor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Conducts Annual Partnership Discussion with team members
  • Lead/direct team members in daily activities, training team members on their duties and responsibilities
  • Follow company policies
  • Conducts written and verbal warnings of team members
  • Active production team member
  • Accuracy/accountability of white board
  • Morale/overall team member satisfaction
  • Work with Manufacturing Coach to establish daily manufacturing schedules to satisfy customer requirements
  • Responsible for the planning and scheduling of activities within the Cell
    • Daily WIP Tracking
    • Plan and allocate equipment and people resources
    • Ensure company and team objectives for safety, quality and OTD are achieved
  • Cross-train and develop team members
  • Interact with materials team to obtain the parts necessary to build the job
  • Responsible for rejected material resolution and coordination with quality

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Two to five years of related experience or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience


  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, and assembly drawings.  
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one settings and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization


  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance


  • Basic electronics knowledge
  • Computer skills required


  • Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
