Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is seeking a Building Manager in the Rosemont area.


The Building Operation Manager is responsible for the management of the headquarters property. In addition, the Building Operations Manager is responsible for the preparation and administration of the building operations budget. The Building Operations Manager allocates resources and balances employee workloads and skills in building services as well as the mailroom/copy center. The Building Operations Manager also manages the career development of the Building Engineer and solicits input on performance from other personnel.




  • Strong managerial skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • BS or BA Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat
  • Property management experience



  • Negotiates contracts for equipment purchases, leases, vendors for building services and supplies
  • Manages and provides assistance/back-up for the Building Engineer.
  • Manages general and preventive maintenance, cleaning, and security of building
  • Manages tenant relationships, including invoicing and subsequent collections
  • Manages day-to-day responsibilities and career development of the building engineer
  • Assists in marketing vacant space in building and OIEI space rental
  • Responsible for room configuration sets and ensuring proper facility/cafeteria supplies are stocked in OIEI
  • Acts as liaison with local government agencies; networks with other building services personnel via participation in membership organization
  • Responsible for budget preparation / management for building operations and office services
  • Serves as contact for building emergencies 24/7
  • Manages mailroom services/copy center function, including site manager provided by outside contractor
  • Responsible for managing the corporate accounts payable credit card
  • Provides support to the Building Committee of the Board of Trustees
  • Monday – Friday; 8 am – 4:30 pm.
  • Salary Range: $90-$100K based on experience
