Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client is actively recruiting for a Broker Specialist in the North Chicago, IL area!


This is a contract opportunity, immediate start. Pay starts at $25.00 an hour, dependent on experience.

SUMMARY

Responsible for processing broker home equity applications while acting as a members' financial partner, taking every opportunity to understand and assess their financial needs and goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Advise members of appropriate products and services which will help them achieve their goals.
  • Meet and exceed members' expectations by providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure brokers have updated date rates and guidelines.
  • Respond to and complete portal requests and broker phone requests.
  • Maintains loan queue and loan follow-up daily.
  • Provide initial and ongoing broker training.
  • Process home equity modifications and subordinations.
  • Counsel members and responds to member and broker questions regarding loan eligibility, lending criteria and denial reasons.
  • Performs all duties with accuracy and in compliance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations, and complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • 1 -3 years' experience customer service experience required. Experience working in a loan department and/or processing home equity loans is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED

SCHEDULE

  • M-F; 8:00AM - 5:00PM; availability required for rotating Saturday's and nights up until 7pm.
  • $25.00+; based on experience!
