Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a Baker/Production Mixer to work in the Racine, WI area.

Responsible for making a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods while supporting the baking team in achieving general production goals and standards. This position will work alongside various production team members to complete in general operations of the department, including working towards new initiatives and achieving production goals. Ultimately responsible for following the orders for the day and achieving production standards in the mixing process while maintaining the highest level of quality.


  • Precisely measuring and mixing ingredients into dough according to a recipe
  • Responsible to roll and cut, deposit into baking pan, or distribute the filling as part of a product.
  • Forming and shaping products from the dough or batter, according to the specifications of the recipe
  • Baking the shaped dough and, if applicable, decorating the final product.
  • Must be vigilant about using exact measurements and paying strict attention to timing
  • Work to optimize operational efficiencies while ensuring the company’s high quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Adhere to the company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
  • Adhere to the company's HACCP and other food safety procedures.
  • Work to troubleshoot any issues and involve maintenance to ensure equipment is available for use when needed and properly maintained.
  • Ensure daily orders are being filled accurately.
  • Be willing to help other departments when in need to help carry out our mission on a daily basis.
  • Other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Passion for quality throughout entire mixing and make-up process, and ambition to work towards new initiatives while developing efficiencies.
  • Ability to comfortably stand, walk, bend, and/or lift up to 50 pounds repetitively for extended periods of time throughout shift.
  • Positive, team-minded attitude and a passion for mixing and following a recipe repetitively to create large batches of raw or finished product while maintaining the Olesen standard.
