Goodwill TalentBridge in partnership with their client, a Christian Faith Based Education Organization is seeking an Associate Principal to guide their schools focusing on early childhood and middle school grade levels. 

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Executive Principal, the Associate Principal will support instructional leaders to deliver academic excellence to students. Conduct observations and provide feedback, utilize data-driven instruction, curriculum and assessment, and professional development. In collaboration with the Executive Principal, the Associate Principal will implement a professional development program to guide instructional staff members in their professional development.

This role requires an innovative leader that will focus on professional development of the Dean and Teaching staff, student achievement and support a unified and strong school culture.  The Associate Principal leads academic outcomes for the school, operational excellence and develops community relationships.

The Associate Principal leads data driven instruction, facilitates assessment scheduling, ensures quality of assessments and school preparation. The AP will guide teachers in lesson planning, plan and deliver high-quality professional development that trains and orients staff members and builds professional relationships with teachers that help in their development and to support student achievement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Valid teaching credential or certification preferred
  • At least three years of teacher experience with exceptional results, strong instructional skills, and strong classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of essential content, standards, and highly effective teaching strategies in elementary and middle school grades
  • Previous experience in coaching new and experienced teachers
  • Experience working with youth and families in low-income urban communities
  • Experience with school teaching platforms and technology for virtual learning
  • Strong MS Office Suite Skillset
