Goodwill TalentBridge and one of our clients is actively recruiting for Mechanical Assemblers to work in the Waukegan/Gurnee, IL area! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity offering benefits, available first of the month!
2:30PM - 12:30AM; M-THURS - May be required to train on 1st shift for up to 1 month!
$18+/HR; based on experience!
Responsible for the assembly of of mixing and mechanical equipment by:
- Receiving instructions, prints and work orders
- Interpret drawings and determining work procedures
- Fit and assemble parts and sub-assemblies into units
- Fit and assemble component parts into frames, discharge gates and mixing/rotating tools
- Install and align hydraulic controls and hoses
- Use electric motors to function and test the units and assemblies
- Report defects in materials, tools and equipment
