Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for an AR/Collections Representative to work in the Oak Creek area.

The accounts receivable clerk is responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Process reports to recognize non-payments, delinquent payments, and other irregularities.
  • Contact customers via telephone and email to resolve billing issues and provide statements when necessary.
  • Coordinate resolution of past due accounts by arranging for payment, and continuous follow up.
  • Develop rapport with customers to ensure good customer service on administrative end and ease of receiving past-due payments.
  • Process payments and apply payments to customer accounts.
  • Enter bank deposits into computer system.
  • Research, compile, maintain and manage data related to collection and cash reconciliation efforts.
  • File accounts receivable records once resolved.
  • Process filing for accounts payable to ensure workflow is smooth for entire accounting department.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience  

  • One year related experience and/or training in the collections field.  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high demand environment.
  • Computer Skills  
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software including Outlook.
