Goodwill TalentBridge is seeking an Account Receivable Coordinator who will be responsible for collections, administer cash receipts, on hold orders and back up.

This is a contract role; Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm. Pay $23 – 24; located in Northbrook

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cash Applications
  • Prepare daily cash deposits
  • Perform routine maintenance, i.e. address changes, changing/or adding direct deposits and preparing W-9 Forms
  • Assist with preparation of financial reports relating to internal/external audits
  • Setting up/Maintaining/establishing credit for customer accounts
  • Investigating past due accounts receivable issues/collecting on past due accounts
  • Maintains accurate and detailed notes on all outstanding AR
  • Billing manual invoices to customers/intercompany
  • Effectively communicate with customers and internal employees
  • Meet department deadlines
  • Properly file documents after researching
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Review/Release customer orders on hold



Education, Training and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree Required
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment in an organized manner
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of collections, cash posting and billing
