Accounting Representative

Goodwill TalentBridge is recruiting an Accounting Representative in this direct hire role with our client, an accounting firm located in the Racine, WI area. 

In this role you will complete and oversee all client accounting projects, review and create financial statements and reporting, ensure timely client communications and resolution of questions and concerns, completion of payroll tax documents and ensure compliance with regulations and current legislation as well as overseeing client workflow.  The ideal candidate will be collaborative, detail oriented, have excellent project management skills, the ability and desire to continuously learn and contribute to the success of the firm.  Minimally, an associate degree in accounting or business-related subject with 3+ years of accounting experience is desired for this role.

Requirements:

Essential Duties:

  • Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies, and principles in the firm, oversees the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Monitors and provides analysis of accounting data to produce financial reporting and facilitate the supporting documentation for each period-end reporting 
  • Continually improves processes and procedures and initiates corrective action
  • Collaborates to analyzes and review team members documents
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Provides details to customers concerning appropriate company products and services
  • Oversees completion of all related payroll tax forms in accordance with policies, and in compliance with legislation and regulations
  • Monitors on-site customer volume and advises manager when additional help is required
  • Timely resolution of client concerns with management referral as necessary
  • Contributes to firm success and meeting goals
