Goodwill Industries is looking for Line Assembly team members for an industry leading company in Libertyville, IL. 

Contribute to the goals of the teams by assembling high quality tools in a cost effective and safe manner, meet production targets and actively participate in improving plant practices and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work Quality/Job Performance

  • Maintains safe and neat work area(s)
  • Follows safety procedures, i.e., exercise, safety glasses, etc.
  • Brings unsafe conditions to the attention of management
  • Follows work instructions o Follows line procedures and timing
  • Follows parts ordering, cycle counts, and cleaning procedures at appropriate time

Knowledge & Skills

  • 1 year of related assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Use and be familiar with assembly and measuring tools, interpret visual aids and be able to perform simple math.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in written form effectively with co-workers, other departments

The noise level in the work environment is usually normal/moderate.
