Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a 1st shift Dry Blend Operator to work in the Northbrook, IL area.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Review orders and determine proper sequence based on customer needs
- Choose the appropriate blender for the size of the batch
- Obtain necessary raw materials
- Position raw materials for loading into blender. Use lift table on the large blenders. Forklift operation required.
- Mix appropriately, sequencing important if plating. Lab analysis may be required on some batches in process.
- Other duties as required
- Ability to understand filling and the packaging processes including dangerous goods, packaging groups for DOT (49 CFR), IATA, and IMDG.
- Must be able to understand, compose, and revise SOP’s, SSOP’s, and job specific work instructions.
- Ability to understand compounding, extractions, distillations, homogenization, mixing, filtration.
- Ability to lift at least 25lbs - 50lbs
